Effect of Inflation and Permitted Three-Slot Payment on Two-Warehouse Inventory System with Stock-Dependent Demand and Partial Backlogging

چکیده

This study examines the effect of monetary inflation for a two-warehouse single-product inventory system, in which items are stored limited capacity Own Warehouse (OW) and an unlimited Rental (RW). Demand item is considered stock dependent. Items may deteriorate at different constant rate both warehouses. Shortages allowed stock-out period partially backlogged satisfied next replenishment point. The supplier permits flexible payment options retailer to pay amount three equal payments time points. retailers’ preferred option as follows: first prior point with some discount; second one-third total purchasing cost, paid epoch; third after before start cycle, penalty. influence on cost calculation considered, analytic expression optimal minimal explicitly derived from this. We performed arrived sensitivity analysis discern effects backlogging rates, well discount penalties upon late costs optimizing cost.

Two-Warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Time-Dependent Demand and Partial Backlogging Under Inflation

This paper deals with a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with time dependent demand and partial backlogging under inflation. It is assumed that deterioration of items follows two-parameter Weibull distribution and demand rate varies exponentially with time. Shortages are allowed and partial backlogging depends on waiting time of next replenishment. A numerical example is pr...

Inventory Model for Non – Instantaneous Deteriorating Items, Stock Dependent Demand, Partial Backlogging, and Inflation over a Finite Time Horizon

In the present study, the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model of two-warehouse deals with non-instantaneous deteriorating items, the demand rate considered as stock dependent and model affected by inflation under the pattern of time value of money over a finite planning horizon. Shortages are allowed and partially backordered depending on the waiting time for the next replenishment. The main ob...

A credit policy approach in a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with price- and stock-dependent demand under partial backlogging

Advertisement of the product is an important factor in inventory analysis. Also, price and stock have an important role to attract more customers in the competitive business situations. Trade credit policy is another important role in inventory analysis. We have combined these three factors together in a two-warehouse inventory model and represented it mathematically. In addition, we have added...

PRODUCTION MODEL WITH SELLING PRICE DEPENDENT DEMAND AND PARTIAL BACKLOGGING UNDER INFLATION

We developed an inventory model for decaying items with selling price dependent demand in inflationary environment. Deterioration rate is taken as two parameter Weibull distribution. Shortages in inventory are allowed with partial backlogging. Backlogging rate is taken as exponential decreasing function of time. Profit maximization technique is used in this study.

An inventory model for deteriorating items with stock-dependent selling rate and partial backlogging under inflation

This paper presents an inventory model for deteriorating items with stock-dependent selling rate under inflation and time value of money over a finite planning horizon. In the model, shortages are allowed and the unsatisfied demand is partially backlogged at the exponential rate with respect to the waiting time. We establish the theoretical results and provide an efficient solution procedure to...
